Stumbras EMDR Counseling is a center offering telehealth counseling services in Wisconsin. My name is Dr. Patrick Stumbras, and I am a Licensed Psychologist and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of Wisconsin. My experience brings more than 13 years of expertise as a mental health professional treating individuals of all ages. I have worked as a practitioner in outpatient settings, intensive inpatient units, general hospital settings, and correctional facilities. I have worked in the states of Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Colorado during my training. In addition to my work as a counselor, I work as a clinical supervisor, and chairperson for the MFT Examining Board in the State of Wisconsin. In my free time, I enjoy adventure sports, playing the piano, sailing, traveling to Costa Rica, time with family, and relentlessly cheering on the Packers, Bucks, and Brewers.

My approach is tailored to the unique needs of each client, and I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment for healing and growth. In my 13 years as a mental health professional, I have been exposed to countless unique life challenges that people may face. We can consider this a nonjudgmental environment where you can feel open, safe, and comfortable sharing sensitive information. I believe that much of the distress we face in the present day stems from early life experiences, and together we will work to heal old wounds and find our purpose, confidence, and happiness moving forward.
